Will I need to provide identification or other documents to make withdrawals?

You are free to deposit and start trading as soon as you like. There is a temporary hold on your ability to withdraw which will be removed once your account is fully verified. To do this we ask that you provide:

Proof of Identity. The best identification documents are those which are issued by a government authority, which should have your photograph, address and signature. For example a passport, election identity card, driver’s license, etc. would be sufficient for the purpose of establishing identity.

Proof of Address. This is a document to establish your home address, which can be either a recent utility bill (gas/water/electricity/landline phone) or a bank or credit card statement that is addressed to you at your home and dated within the last three months. Please note that we are unable to accept mobile phone, internet or cable TV bills as a proof of address.

Copies of all cards used for deposit. Please send a copy of the front of all the cards you have used to deposit with us, blocking the middle digits so that only the first 6 and final 4 numbers are visible.

Are wire transfers an available method for deposit/withdrawal?

Yes. You may operate your account by method of wire transfer. However because of the banking costs, MarketsWorld allows you one withdrawal per calendar month without any charge. If you request more than one withdrawal per month then we will charge your account $50 per withdrawal to defray the banking costs. MarketsWorld absorbs the banking fees for you based on one withdrawal per month. Because we offer deposits and withdrawals via bank debit cards, most customers prefer this method to the complexity and added costs associated with operating the account via wire transfer. I have a new credit/debit card. How can I cashout to it?

When you make a cashout request, you will not be given a choice as to which card can receive your funds. The cashout withdrawal payment will go back on to the same card you last used to make a deposit with MarketsWorld that has not expired and is Credit Funds Transfer (CFT) eligible.

The payment method my cashout was sent to is closed/expired, where are my funds?

If you have a new or existing open card/account with the same institution, the funds may be credited there. Please contact your financial institution regarding the transaction.

I have not received my cashout withdrawal, what happens next?

Please make sure you have allowed enough time for your cashout to appear on your statement which can take 3-7 business days. If after this time has elapsed you still have not received your cashout withdrawal, please contact [email protected], making sure to provide any relevant account history or statements for your payment method, showing that the cashout was not received, and we will gladly assist you.

Can I cancel my cashout withdrawal request?

If your cashout request has not yet been processed, you will be able to cancel it via the “Journal” table at the bottom of the “Your Account” page. If you wish to cancel a pending cashout withdrawal, click the word “Cancel” written next to the pending withdrawal. If you do not see the word “Cancel” there then the cashout request has already been processed and cannot be cancelled any longer.

Why am I unable to submit my request for a cashout withdrawal?
