I only see “loading” for every asset on the trading page

Your session may have expired. Try refreshing the page and logging in again.
You may have trouble caused from your local firewall or proxy server. Go to websocketstest.com and see the results of WebSockets (Port 8080) test. If you do not see green checkmarks for all aspects of that test then you likely have an issue with your firewall or proxy server. In this case speak to your web administrator as you need to be receiving over Port 8080.

Error 103 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_ABORTED): Unknown error.

  1. Try “https” instead of “http” in the URLs.
  2. Make sure your router or modem is configured correctly and your firewall is not blocking your internet connections.
  3. Reset your modem or router, and reconfigure it properly.

Why can’t I place a trade?

There are a few possibilities why you may not be able to place a trade. You must be logged in to your account, the underlying asset or instrument must be open for trading, and you must have sufficient funds in your account for the trade.

If all of the above are in order and you are still not able to trade, please try refreshing the trade page. It may be that your session expired if there was no trading activity for a prolonged period of time which may have caused an automatic session expiry and log out.

I can’t log in to my account, why would this be?

The most common cause of this is incorrect log in details. You can click the “Forgot password?” prompt to have MarketsWorld send you a reset password or contact Customer Support or Live Chat with us for further help.

Do I have to download any software in order to use the trading platform?

No. All trading transactions are done online via the MarketsWorld website, no downloads are required. This way you can access your account from any location world-wide with a computer or smart phone and internet connection.
